This race is a mix of dirt paths and roads as you run through the Bois de Vincennes and circle the Lac de la Porte Jaune.
One downside is the narrowness at some points which can really slow you down.
Despite having 3 depature SAS, to me it felt like an all-at-once departure leading to congestion at the beginning.
They were 3 pacers (40mn, 50mn, 60mn) but I only saw the 50mn one.
There was no music or marching band on the along the 10kms but there is a rather good vibe with supporters almost all the way to the finish line.
Overall it is rather a good ambiance with nice volunteers (I got my bib from the Greatest : "our international Karen") and no real obstacle.
One year the finish line was located directly inside of the Château de Vincennes. This year the Festival Electro with its 25,000 visitors put the Bois under vigipirate. In order to protect the runners, this year the police modified the arrival to Rue des Minimes near the Parc Floral which was less glamorous.
Somethings never change though : your race t-shirt, designed by Michel Orchilles, creator of Sports Passion Organization, is always a flashy color.
Expat members : let's give it a go all together to the Course du Château 2016 :)
