As the race director I can honestly say that everything went to plan, and there were no issues Everyone turned up on time, and the timing team were excellent - not a single mistake ! Slight hiccup when we realised the TV remote had no batteries (so couldn't change input channel) but Duncan swiftly provided some batteries and the problem was solved. An 'in race' injury meant one of our timers had to juggle timing with being a good nurse / wife - which she managed exceptionally well
