20150510_112819 (1)" width="169" height="300" />by Karen This was the 17th annual race for Handicap Intl which departed from the Pelouse de St. Cloud and took place entirely within the limits of the Bois de Boulogne.  There were 1 and 2km distances for children, 5 or 10km adult races, and a 5km walk. As there were handicapped competitors rolling through at the same time, the route was entirely paved. It is the first race where I have seen a babysitting service for small children, for those with little ones. I did my first ever 5km (trying to be moderate) so by default it was my best time at 27:22, putting me  4th in my category, performing at a faster pace than...César (by  0.026km/hr)! He was running at someone else’s slower pace, but it needs to be mentioned as I may never surpass him again. Beggars can’t be choosers. Other participants in the 10km distance included Anaïs and David. This is recommended for next year. Simple, for a good cause.
